火鍋最早源於中國,距今有超過1000多年的歷史。經典的火鍋食材包括瘦肉片、海鮮、蔬菜、豆製品、菌菇類、丸子等。現如今,火鍋已是世界性的流行美食,但因地域環境和風俗不同,所謂的火鍋也是形態味道各異。

瑞士奶酪火鍋 Swiss Cheese Hotpot(Fondue)

瑞士傳統的奶酪火鍋是將酪在鍋中融化,煮成液體狀後再加入一定數量的果酒和白酒,吃的時候要用長柄的叉子將一塊法式的面包叉起來,放進鍋中拿出來吃。

Cheese fondue is a traditional Swiss  dish of melted cheese served in a communal pot ,then stir in kirsch and white wine,and eaten by dipping bread into the cheese using long-stemmed forks.


 

瑞士巧克力火鍋 Swiss Chocolate Hotpot(Fondue)

這是一種很受女孩子們特別青睞的火鍋。事先將巧克力放入鍋中煮成汁,然後用巧克力醬蘸著水果和點心吃,有的人也喜歡搭配點心,布朗尼、磅餅、棉花糖和小巧的手指餅幹。

This kind of hot pot is quite popular among girls. Slices of fruit  are dipped in a caquelon of melted chocolate.  Many people also enjoy eat with baked goods such as brownies, pound cake, marshmallows, and lovely ladyfinger.


 

意大利火鍋 Italian Hotpot

該國火鍋的主要原料是牛肉片、火腿、豬排肉和蝦仁等,配料有菠菜、洋蔥以及黃油等。人們在吃的時候先將火鍋燒熱,然後再將菠菜和洋蔥放入鍋內煮一下,稍後再放肉,待開始吃的時候再放入蝦仁等海鮮產品,以保持火鍋的鮮香味。

The Italian hotpot usually consists of a few varieties of meat: slice beef, ham, pork chops and shrimp, ingredients are spinach, onion and butter. When soup’s ready, put spinach and onion into the pot and boiling for a while, then add the meat, lastly add shrimp into the pot when people start to eat, because they want to keep the fresh and delicious taste of the hotpot.


 

印度咖喱火鍋 Indian Curry Hotpot

印度最為著名的火鍋要首推“咖哩火鍋”。其所用佐料是本土的特產咖哩、番葉、椰子粉以及香料等,涮的東西有魚頭、草蝦、雞肉和牛肉等,鍋底還有米粉浸汁,有盡吸原汁之雅趣。

Curry Hot Pot is the featured Hot Pot of Indian. Condiments are including local specialty of curry, Senna Leaf, coconut and India spices. When the soup’s ready, people like to eat with fish-head, shrimp, chicken and beef,and rice noodles with curry sauce.


 

韓國火鍋 South Korean Hotpot

該國最傳統的火鍋就要算是“石頭火鍋”了,大有“辣死人不償命”的韓國風情。在這種火鍋的底部放的盡是辣椒油和辣椒粉等辣味調料。吃時會辣出大汗、眼淚,真可謂“辣死人,樂死人”。

The most traditional South Korea hotpot is called “Stone steamboat”, this one is extremely hot and spicy, and you can’t imaging how much chilli oil and chilli powder Korean people may add into the pot, and they quite enjoy the feelings of perspire and tear when they eating it.


 

日本的紙火鍋 Japanese Paper Hotpot

這是近兩年來在日本新興的一種火鍋,其主料和湯料均用特制的紙包裝。在這種火鍋中加水點燃後即可食用,而且其味道鮮美無比,食時別有一番情趣。這種紙火鍋的佐料組成是日式高湯和淡醬油,主要包括有牛肉片、魚片以及鹿肉片等。

“Paper hotpot” becomes a great emerging phenomenon in Japan the recent years. All the ingredients and soup are all made in a special paper. This kind of hotpot is “pretty tasty”and you can easily eat by adding water into the paper and lighting it.  Condiments are including Dashi Stock and soy sauce, food mainly include slice beef, slice fish and Sliced Venison.
