Chef Huang- The Rice Chef
Growing up in Tainan of Taiwan, Chef Huang has always had a deep admiration for local Taiwanese cuisine, whether it was street snacks, or complex restaurant dishes. His uses of local ingredients and inspiration from the farm lands are highly admirable.
This year for TAIWANfest, he has created 5 stunning rice dishes, combining many different ingredients to allow the rice to be the shining star. Come by and see how rice is eaten in everyday Taiwanese cuisine, such as Soy Meets Congee.

Chef Chen- The Noodles Chef
Beginning his culinary journey at the young age of 16, Mr. Chi-Wen Chen is a Le Cordon Bleu certified chef. Born and raised in Taiwan, Chef Chen succeeded in working up the ranks as head chef in various famous restaurants.
This year, Chef Chen has created and prepared 5 different fusion noodle dishes for Canadian foodies. From breakfast to midnight snack, Chef Chen’s noodles are here to change your heart and mind about the cuisines made from noodles!
