Yah Yah Ya New Location Opening: Downtown Vancouver x Authentic Japanese Taste
Speaking of the Top Ramen shops in Vancouver area, Yah Yah Ya is definitely one of them. It is popular in both Japan and Vancouver because of its Yokohama Style Ramen. Now they already have four chain stores in Japan, and are preparing for the opening for their fifth store. In the Greater Vancouver area, other than the well-known shop in Richmond, in this November, they opened the second shop on Robson Street. So for whom that lives far away from Richmond, now you won’t go through cities to taste the authentic Yokohama Ramen!
Yah Yah Ya’s most favourable Shoyu broth—fresh broth with aromatic flavour, but it won’t taste as strong and oily as it smells. Not like the Shoyu broth, their Shio broth tastes richer. During this rainy season, when you sip the warm broth, when you feel the chewiness of the noodles, don’t you feel the troubles are going away?
When your stomach is fulfilled, your life will become meaningful. This might be why ramen was rated one of “the most Comfort Food”.
The essence of Japanese Ramen, which is called “Daigo Taste” by Japanese people, is the broth of their ramen. The biggest difference among different styles of ramen is their ingredients of the broth. Yah Yah Ya’s Yokohama style broth is made from pig bone, chicken bone and vegetables. After hours of boiling, and then add soy bean sauce, it mix the deliciousness and high nutritious in one bowl. Clients can also choose the level of chewiness of the noodles, salty taste and also oiliness of the broth as they like!
Many of the Japanese clients was surprised that Vancouver Yah Yah Ya’s ramen tastes exactly the same with what they tasted in Japan. This is because Yah Yah Ya’s chef is hired from Japan, and their staffs are also trained in Japan before they come to Canada.
Ramen is an art. Starts from boiling the broth, picking vegetables, making the egg, to how they match the amount of onions with the dish, they put all their effort into each step of making ramen. The most favourable set in store should be their Chashu Set.
Yah Yah Ya’s Chashu did not use pork belly to make Chashu like other stores. They use pork shoulder, which is more tender and tasty, and you won’t feel guilty about the fat. Different than the sliced Chashu, the bite-sized Chashu mixes better with the rice and sauces. You can also add green onions and chilli powder on it, it tastes even better!!!
In these wet days, what could be better than eating a bowl of ramen? In this winter, at 570 Robson Street, let’s meet at Yah Yah Ya new location!!!!
